Wishbone, if you don't mind me asking how much fuel did you use and did you have back up?

Don't mind at all, really not that much. It was about 80-90 miles off road, 40 or so to the trail head after fill up and I get about 10 mpg wheeling, so around 10 gallons I would say. I do not carry any extra fuel, but I did top off in Crested Butte, and made it out with over 3/4 tank. I most certainly take things like this into consideration when planning.

Better safe than sorry! When I add a swingout to my bumper this winter I will include some fuel storage options, as well.

Thread revival again. Awesome pics! I've been to a few of the areas you posted about, so thanks for giving me a massive amount of nostalgia.:D I've got a chance to go back at the end of October, although there's probably too much snow already. I'll have to check on bushducks.

What do you think are the minimum equipment requirements for running some of those passes? I've got a full compliment of RCI skids except for the rear diff, and 265/75r16 (just under 32" - increase over stock by 1.04") tires. Otherwise, everything is stock '16 TRD OR. Sliders are hopefully coming as soon as my wallet stops crying.

I'll keep those passes in mind
