Just traded my 2015 TRD pro Tacoma in on a 2017 Tundra. I was planning on keeping the Tacoma for a long time, but I found an amazing deal on this Tundra.

I have a few plans for my truck:
    Window tint
    Predator steps
    Driver side grab bar add
    Door sill protectors
Pro grill with color match surround

Nice, think of doing the same. Curious to see your thoughts about the Tundra after a few months, seeing if you miss having a mid size truck versus a full size in any way? Nice color choice.

I traded my 08 Tacoma dbl cab for a 17 Tundra Crewmax on 7-3. I've put about 1400 miles on the Tundra and so far I love it. It is a little harder to park and I haven't off roaded it yet. But the room and the ride is great. My Tacoma had a small lift so the gas mileage isn't that much different. The only complaint I have so far is the rear seat doesn't let down. The bottom folds up but I use to keep stuff behind the rear seat in my taco

    Thank you!
So far so go. It's nice to have the extra room. The mid size is definitely easier to maneuver. However it actually doesn't drive that much different to the Tacoma.

    Nice! Welcome to the club.
I agree parking is more challenging because of how wide it is. I really miss my behind the seat storage. Plus my crew max doesn't have the bins under the seat. I'm looking into the the ESP under seat storage. I'm in the same boat with gas mileage. I was averaging 14 in my tacoma pro and the computer is telling me I'm getting almost 13 in the Tundra.

What kind of storage does it have inside? I've also noticed the bed doesn't come with the plastic shell cover, power inverter or a railing system, is that a Tacoma only feature? Also, would love to see your future upgrades with your color combo

    There's not a ton inside.
The seats fold up and that's about it besides the human sized center console lol.

No shell cover in the bed, but I have the spray bedliner. They actually do have the tie down railing. I know I'm really gonna miss the inverter come Christmas time!

    Thank you!

How’s the Tundra treating you? I’m on the fence on the move again and with the year ending soon I’m debating 17 vs 18 “end of year specials”. Did you get any toys for it?

It's doing great! Just took it on a road trip and the extra space and power was really nice.
    No new toys yet.

If you can get a good deal and what you want in a 17 I'd go for it. The only difference for 18 is the safety sense and the grill.

This will probably make @Coot83 happy... but I miss my Tacoma.
The Tundra is awesome, but I just don't love it like I did the Tacoma.

Haha maybe one day. I don't have enough coin to buy another Tacoma right now.
The Tundra is a lease so we will see where I'm at in about 2.5 years ;)

Did you own the taco originally? I assume wheeling on the tundra might not be a good idea since its only a lease?

Was making payments on the Tacoma.
    Actually it's the best.
If you don't plan on keeping it you be super hard on them and give it back at the end.
I'm still babying this thing tho lol

Shit I modded up my truck because I don't plan to ever sell. If I need a bigger vehicle, then I'm just getting a second ride.
