I just bought a 06 4 door v6 Tacoma 138k miles with the TRD package for some reason I didn’t check the diff lock before I purchased. When I engage the lock you can hear the actuator or motor trying to engage but the diff lock light flashes and won’t lock in and abs light stays on not sure if that’s normal or not wondering if anyone has had the same problem. Thanks!

did u roll forward slowly after pressing the button?
ya gotta turn and drive forward sometimes a few inches to get things aligned.

    Stop truck
    press lock button
drive forward while turning wheel in either direction (very low speed).
you may need to turn left and right in an alternating fashion
    once it locks, ur set.

dont use on pavement, and if stuck ease off the gas as u get unstuck. You dont want a bunch of spinning and then a bunch of sudden traction while under alot of load.
