    2015 Toyota Tacoma

Purchased new on March 12, 2015. The original plan was to keep it stock as long as possible. I made it almost a year.....

I am sure I forgot stuff and will be updating as I remember and when I finish stuff.

This is what it looked like the night I bought it from the dealership.

    IMG_7007.jpg IMG_7008.jpg IMG_7015.jpg IMG_7021.jpg

Almost a year later I started upgrading a lot of things. I got all my new goodies in and headed to my buddies shop in VA to use his lift.

This was the first set of upgrades after an evening of installs.

Purchased my camper shell from a member here. The next morning I installed my Prinsu rack I had sitting around.

Most of the time I am stuck loading the RTT on top myself. I figured out a pretty easy way to get it done.

Decided to try my hand at doing retrofit headlights for the first time. They came out pretty good, not perfect, but was a good experience for doing my first set. I ended up going with Morimoto Mini D2S, with Panamera shrouds, 50w Ballast, and XB 5500K bulbs

I do pretty much all the installs with some occasional help from friends on my truck. Since I live about 20 mins. from ECGS I decided to let the professionals take care of the gearing and ARB front and rear air lockers. They are great to deal with and had my truck in and out in a day as well. Definitely recommend East Coast Gear Supply if you're ordering stuff to install yourself or if you want them to do the install for you.

I decided to keep with the Pelfreybilt theme and order sliders and full aluminum skids from them.

    IMG_1871.jpg

I ended up paining the skids with spray can bed liner. I prepped it with acetone and used self etching primer before I sprayed them. We will see how well they hold up, but spent probably around $100 on materials to paint them.

    IMG_1873.jpg IMG_1872.jpg

Doing the install myself was probably a little more of a pain in the ass than if I had an extra set of hands, but it got done anyways and think it turned out great.
