Gebo, over on BITOG has at his own expense posted pix of Toyota 'OEM' filters.

The 90195-YZZD1, D3, and the long awaited G2 are included. The 'D' series is Denso made and is well known, the 'G2' has been something of a mystery. It seems to cross reference to Tacoma applications, and is the one my dealer used 4 times during the Toyotacare period on my 2tr-fe.

Discussion is ongoing, but it appears that the G2 is in fact Purolator contract made.

BYW, those guys are huge fans of the Fram Ultra filters but I just can't get by the very thin can on those. It's been reported as .018". I don't need the synthetic media for my 5k mile OCI, so I plan to stick with the Toyota/Purolator 'G2'. It's just beefier.
