So I tried these on my stock 4Runner and then realized they were for lifted Toyotas. I sold them to a guy with a 1st gen 4runner but he said he also couldn't make them fit because they're too long. So I took them back. It's definitely the correct part number imprinted on the tube. I don't know if they need shock relocation brackets or what. Or if they are for long travel but the published information is wrong... But anyway, this is a my last attempt to get rid of them. Hopefully someone can use them. Please just know what you're getting into before purchasing.

I patched up the dust covers with some silicon. Supposedly 7k miles on them according to the guy I bought them from.

These are front shocks according to the descriptions.

 

They need to be struts for the fronts. Can you shed an actual picture of the part number

 

The websites you gave say the are for 4runners and Toyota pickups, not tacomas

That's definitely wrong, considering they only started making the Tacoma in 1995. I think they're mistaking it for the Toyota pick up.
