RTIC Coolers

Been using my cooler as beer "fridge" for 2+ months now, love this thing, although my son did rip all the stickers off of it last week.

 

At first I was like “yeah, that’s what they all say”. Then I saw that Macallen up there! That’s some good stuff, sir!

 

i have a rtic and yeti....but now i couldnt pass up a ozark due to its price -- will see how it compares as i use it during the next few months

 

Please keep us posted on what you think. We were contemplating buying one this week but it seemed too good to be true.

This makes me want to buy one even more now. I need to go to WallyWorld and see if they have any with mis-marked prices. Do I buy a new cooler or do my dual battery set up? My Rtic softpack holds ice for about 3 days and should be sufficient for winter.

 

Do a dual battery!!!! Then eventually get an engel fridge/freezer since they're "only" $600 for the big one. That's my eventual goal. I'm tired of dealing with coolers.

Just a heads up - RTIC has a 25% off sale going on. I have their 45 and 65 and they are without a doubt worth every penny. I had a Yeti that I picked up from a forum member on another forum for a good deal and it performed no better than the RTIC 45 I had at the time. I sold it and bought the RTIC 65 during a sale and was able to turn a profit. I look forward to installing my NL 50L twin fridge freezer and putting it to the test once I install a dual battery setup, but I will always keep an RTIC around for drink duties if space is available.

Beer “stock” is a little lower now that it’s scotch season, packed half the cooler with block ice, this thing stays so cold.

 

Added like -5 degrees more Cooling power with the new SCS sticker

 

Do the RTIC 65's fit under the lip of the bed of a tacoma? Would a tonneau cover work with them?

 

Do the RTICs leak if tipped over or is there a complete seal?

I would entertain the idea of trading my white 65 quart for a tan or blue 45. Anyone local?

 

Any gun owning Yeti guys on here regretting their life choices right now?

 

My dad got a 125 quart Yeti from one of the electrical supply houses he deals with, I am trying to convince him to give it to me, no idea what I would do with it, I just want it.

And who gives a shit about the whole NRA thing, if you don't agree with a company don't buy their products, waiting for all the videos of people shooting up their $300+ coolers.
