I'm looking to soften the ride on the street in my '13 Taco TRD Sport. My question is is it possible to change all four shocks, not coil springs, to the ones used in the SR5? Tony Taco, Thank you!

    Welcome!
Look into Bilstein 5100s on all four corners for a cost effective solution.

Thanks everyone! Do the Sport/Off Road models have more leaf springs than an SR5, because if they do than changing the shocks might not prove effective...

Before doing that, what wheel tire combo are you running?

    Stock or something 'spiffy'?

And what tire pressures are you running? Door jamb numbers? Chalk test numbers? Or sidewall max PSI numbers?

Nope, the only difference in rear leafs is Pre and Post TSB (Toyota Service Bulletin). I forget the year, but the 2nd gens used to come with just a 2+1 rear configuration. These were weak and wore out quick so they switched to a 3+1 pack. The +1 being the overload leaf.
