They don't pull out further than your tailgate. They come out right to the egde of it. So enough room for that sir.

    UPDATE.

My ammo cans were backwards. This is why it was so difficult to get the wheels into place. The cans have holes where the j hooks could go on both sides. Lesson learned. So the drawers will come back slightly further than the tailgate. Will update 2nd post after fixing.

Great install write-up! That thing looks pretty solid, I'll be interested to hear how it holds up as well!

On an unrelated note- you trying to sell the bedmat you had in there?

That's tbd I don't know if I am going to cut out where the two ammo cans are or not. With the system making everything so much higher I'll probably tie most stuff down anyway.

Though for random example it would be nice to have one with stuff like firewood. Been thinking about just custom fitting a rubber mat for that though. Since the bed mat has the cutouts for the wheel well.

What's the load limit of the deck? Could I put my 800lb Goldwing on it?

2000lbs with the load dispersed. They say you can put a atv on it so that should be okay. This doesn't help but my 400lbs cbr600rr will be going on top of it to a track day at some point. I'll let you know how it goes.

It is suggested that if you are going to have a heavier load (up to 2000lbs) then you would want to place something on top like plywood so the weight is dispersed across the platform to avoid centering the weight into any one place, such as tires of the Goldwing.
