    Just the weather is nice. Everything else you said about California is why I cant wait to be out of here. My wife is from the Northeast corner of Arizona so shes got a lot of family there. We settled on Phoenix cuz there are plenty of jobs for both of us in our fields. On That note, anybody here work for Lockheed Martin at Luke or at the VA hospital?

    @Harry2015

    Welcome, and thank you for considering our great state for your residential needs. We know you have a choice when looking to move and we are honored that you might choose us.

    Lets get a few things out of the way. We are an gun toting, free range state! If you have an issue with guns, or minding your own business, or not caring what others do as long as they aren't messing with you or yours, then keep heading West young man. One state over hates all things we hold dear and they have wine (showering is option in the Northern part).

    Kingman is so much better than Ft. Mohave. Most people know Kingman as the town they stopped to take a piss and get fuel while driving to Vegas. My wife grew up there (still has family there) and I spent a good part of my childhood there too. Its a small town with lots of things, but not to many. It sees a few days of light snow in the winter and does usually break 100º in the summer. But not too much or for too long. Vegas isn't far for big city needs. Flagstaff is near when you want hippies and snow. Phoenix isn't too far either (we do BBQs and Mod days often).

    Flagstaff and Sedona are the most expensive places to live, Scottsdale isn't far away.

    Sun City West is a nice old folks town (must be 55+ to live there) if you want to be closer to Phoenix, and be surrounded by people your age, plus you can drive a golf cart on the street.... even the sheriff deputes have them.

    Have any more questions feel free to ask, need help, just ask.

    PS: We are no longer able to issue you your own bearded, flannel wearing, midget stripper with your welcome packet. Sorry.

    I just retired this year and Sun City West is where we spend our winters. Its nice to get out of the snow and rain of Washington. They also have lots of clubs and activities and golf if you're interested. The 4x4 club is all jeeps, Have gone on one run with them and over the radio the leader said they could not believe the Tacoma was not having more problems. The guy following me came back and said hes doing great much better then i thought he would. We need a few more Tacos in this group.

    Sun City, Sun City West, and Lakes are all adult communities. Lots of snowbirds (what we call @Tdkrum5 and everyone else that only lives here in the winter), but they head out and the summers are less crowded. The sun city communities are near Lake Pleasant if you are into water sports.
