I'm looking for any help with anyone that has installed air helper bags on Tacoma with 1" lift on the rear. I ordered the air lift air helper bags and from summit racing # AIR 59564. Brackets don't seem to match up with my leaf springs. I bought the truck with the lift already installed, not really sure what all is there, appears to have factory shocks. Customer service tells me there is no kit for my trd version. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you asking about the gap between the vertical angle portion of the bracket and the axle?

Think so, it's not flush, is that ok? The bag itself looks like it's squished to fit in between brackets once they are installed. Didn't want to drill holes in the frame if it was wrong kit.

Return the air lift kit and get the Firestone kit. It is worth the extra money. Trust me on this - I have had both and the air lift kit is junk.

If you wheel your truck off-road also get the Daystar airbag cradles.

    Will the firestone fit?

Yes the Firestone will fit but there is a gap between the bracket and axle like the Airlift. Like TatterHarry said the Firestone is hands down better and get the cradle... I called Firestone years ago about the gap and they said the bracket is for the Tacoma's with 3 leafs and NOT 4 leafs. I was also told they do not make a bracket for the 4 leaf Tacoma's. The tech said I could put a spacer in-between but I didn't and never had a problem with the bracket bending. On a few occasions I have had 1k pounds in the back of my Taco and ran it for years with no issues.

Ditto - I've been running the kit with Dakars and never got around to fabbing up a plate to contact the axle. No bending so far and it's seen hard times

    :fingerscrossed:
