I have a 2017 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Sport truck and I am looking to purchase a TRD suspension kit. The reason being is I do not want to avoid my warranty. So I am looking at the following two kits that I have found so far from Toyota.

    PTR61-35170
    PTR1335150

I can not tell if one of these kits lifts the truck a couple of inches and is there any other suspension kits that Toyota makes that I am missing?

I'm not sure yota sells a lift kit for the taco. I think your best bet is to go to your dealership service and see what they will do while maintaining warranty.

These are both lifts. The bilsteins at the original Pro suspension which gave the 2nd gens around 2" lift. The Fox are the 3rd gen pro setup which give 1-1.5". There are better setups out there for the money Toyota wants.

If toyota wants to deny warranty on something they will. However they have to prove that an aftermarket part caused a failure. So lift kits have a pretty small list of parts they can cause failure to (cv shafts, ball joints, tie rods, etc)

Also those parts will be viewed by Toyota just as any other brand lift. They werent installed by the dealer so they're aftermarket.

If warranty coverage is your primary concern I'd suggest contacting your dealer, buy parts and install thru them. It'll cost a lot more but they will maintain your coverage.

For example my dealer ahas probably 20 Tacomas, 4runners, and tundra with all sorts of different lifts that they sell as new trucks with full warranty

If you must have OEM, then the bilstein version is about 1/2 the price of the fox version.

If you go outside of OEM, you have more options like Stage 4 Fox.

I talked to a dealership and they said bilsteins would not void any warranty.
