    Hello,
First of all, sorry for cross-posting, but i'm desperate. I'm rebuilding my Icon's instead of sending them in because my truck is my daily driver and I couldn't afford to wait for them to be serviced.

All was going well, until I pulled the outer shaft seal from the seal head. The seal I removed is not the same as was provided in my IFP rebuild kit (Icon P/N 252010).

I have heard that some peoples kits included multiple seals for different shocks. I can't find anywhere on the web what the differences are, but if you have the YELLOW one pictured below and you did not use it in your rebuild, please let me know. Or, if you have any ideas where I can find one locally/quickly shipped from an online vendor, anything helps. Of course i'd call Icon but they're closed til Monday. I need a pair to complete my two front shocks.

The picture below is of 4 seals. The one I am looking for is the bottom left. The black one in the bottom right is what my kit came with that doesn't match what I need.

    Thank you for your help.

Are the inside and outside diameters of the two seals the same? Are the overall heights of the two seals the same? I mean, visually, they’re very similar which is why I asked. If you’ve got a decent set of 6” dial calipers I’d measure them up. The only real difference visually in the pictures may be the height of the beveled section on top of the seals. They could’ve possibly redesigned the seal for some reason for improvements. The only issue would be if there’s some sort of interference involved with how or where that bevel fits into the entire setup. It appears as if the height of the bevel in the new seal is slightly taller than on the original. However, it appears as if the outer lip is slightly shorter on the new seal than on the original. If the ID and OD are the same and the overall height is the same, you may consider giving them a shot....unless you really think there’s a clearance issue for that bevel. Without knowing the setup and what that bevel May seat against, it’s difficult to know for sure though.

Okay, called a number of service shops this morning.
It sounds like there are two seals the Icon's can potentially have. I have the earlier version. The seals are not the same height (original is ~.2 and the black is ~.175).

Still don't have a good source for acquiring the needed seal (was referred to shockseals.com, but as with most they aren't open today).
