Good morning. Back to civilization and :pccoffee:

Headed North passed hundreds of boats headed South to be put up for the winter. And was behind ATV after ATV. And canoes. Lot less bugs on the boundary waters this time of year. Had to scrape ice most mornings.

I can't even remember how far a Rod is but know when I see portage on a map my ass hole puckers now.

I've never seen or heard of that. But then again I'm a land lover.
Hope you had a good journey. Good luck with the pup.

In reality it doesn't matter what distance a rod is. It's a long walk either way with a canoe on your back.

Hard to believe cool front almost here. Damn air is thick and can hardly breathe. Need to fire up the chainsaw but sounds like I'm the only human moving outside right now

I need to do the same. Not ready for winter yet. But if the wind doesn't start blowing I'm going down to my range and do a little shooting :)

Good morning all, cool and rainy and windy here in WI. Relaxing this morning. Birthday party this afternoon. Party is for a 2 year old, but this is WI.so the Packer game will be on, or people will always be on their phones checking the game.

The really funny part is he would have to use a fly tying setup to even think about tying a string on it lol

I put a set of Merrick machine auto dollies under the Falcon. These things are rated for 6000lbs and the Falcon has a curb weight of 2750 so one would think it should move around fairly easily. Nope. Have to put some back into it and certainly don't push on sheet metal. It does move but not like the YouTube videos. I'd hate to try moving something near the rated capacity of the skates!
