Awesome! Glad you got it figured out! And that it works! I need to go through my lil manifold i made. Leaks just a tiny bit. Another reason i like it just behind the seat. I can just turn on the regulator when i need it. Don't leave yours on either. I left mine on and my first 16oz of CO2 is gone haha

That was a big bullet that got dodged. I can stay on track with other things now.

Copy that on the CO2. I’ll leave it off except when I get to the trailhead.

I leave mine off until i need it period. But i know i have a leak haha I would suggest wait for a hard spot and if you think you'll need it to fire it up before going over.

That said, unless you are planning so really hard trails in Moab, you won't need it at all. The rear will do you good.

Tomorrow morning, @TacoVio is doing me a solid and picking up a Wildernest that @Reh5108 sent me a link too that @Star-Lord found on CL.

I bought it within a couple hours. But its a 14 hour drive round trip to Fort Collins so @TacoVio offered to pick it up and drive it to Laramie which will save me two hours of driving! Going to meet up in Laramie and bring it home to install on Frankenstein!

Nice! I've always loved the the Wildernests. Ditching the bed rack and RTT for good and building out the bed?

Me too! I feel like they would make a killing in todays market too compared to a flippac or habitat.

nah. RTT is staying on Igor. Works great on the 5' bed.

Won't get rid of it any time soon. I still love RTTs. But the big thing is the mud from my wide tires that stick out super far. Throws it everywhere and into the bed by the pound. So hoping this will help keep the gear more dry and out of the mud.

Got it for a good price and hoping that i like it. If it doesn't work, I'll just sell it again and figure out something else. Already a bit concerned that it won't work with my swingout.

well..i mean thats one high strung motor. And its Ford..who haven't been in the turbo game that long or reliably anyways haha

Seeing as its its last year of production though. Can't imagine Ford will bother to fix it. Be an aftermarket fix probably.

yeah or bolts or just gaskets..who knows. On the 7mgte they figured out the heads just weren't torqued enough. Came from factory at 55ft/lbs. If you upped it to 75 you were fine. could be as simple as that..

    yeah..thats not good haha

but they could be doing that due the blow gasket and then no coolant means too much heat and warping the aluminum heads would be my guess.

Got the wildernest on! Just to see if it would fit. Was close at first. But all worked out!

Just lowered it down and then checked clearances with my swingout

Not bad really. So took the lift boards out and set it down for reals.

Was tight now. Table will need a hair cut so to speak. The door handle is contacting it. Otherwise looks like that's all it'll need!

They we opened it up for the first time.

Holy crap there is sooooooo much room!! It's like your Inna small cabin. However. The bed is much smaller than my rtt. Narrower and shorter.

Besides that. Everything looks fine. It's not perfect. But will work for a few test runs to see if we like it. If we do. We will get all new canvas made for it and replace all the hardware and respect some resin on it as there are a few stress Crack areas. Nothing bad though.

Looks pretty cool on frank too!

Sorry for crappy photos. Left my camera at home.

You could get two poles as an option. Mine didn't come with any nor does it have a place for them to attach too even if I made some.

There is a large snail spring and two Caleb per side that creates a cantilever system so you don't need any poles. It was rated at 1000 lbs new.
