Hello tacos!, I'm here because of my neighbor around the corner mr @mesojdm, I've seen his truck numerous times and can say that in person it's a dam beast!!, I currently own a Colorado I know! I know! This is a Tacoma forum and that's why I'm here haha, my next truck I was dead set on a Chevy Colorado zr2 with the duramax BUT!!! Now after falling in lust with the quicksand LBCC I must say it's going to be a Tacoma. I did own a 04 Tacoma with a trd supercharger and loved it but I had a kid and the car seat wouldn't work in the cab. Anyways enough about me! Hey Stewart want to sell me your truck haha. Also is there a phone app for the website?

Stick around here long enough and we will convince against the ZR2
Not knocking it, I'd love it's turbo power plant.... But that's about all it has going for it.
The Tacoma's have a much bigger following(for a reason), and this forum is hands down the biggest and most informational.
Not to mention the aftermarket support... HUGE.
Don't pay attention to the 2nd Gen VS 3rd Gen bashing... test drive both.
BTW Jon @Goobersbro is a closer neighbor to you than me.. he's got a sick 2nd Gen.

Yeah I like his setup, You know @mesojdm I'm really surprised you are not running a trd supercharger or some custom turbo kit haha, and yes the only reason I'm interested in the chevy zr2 is the fact it's a turbocharged diesel.

 

That's next on the list. Unfortunately there is nothing available yet..even from the factory. Magnuson will be releasing one mid next year... In the mean time I am running the only ECU tune on the market and it gives it a decent boost!

Welcome to the forum man. If you need to decide between and second and third gen I’d be willing to let you test drive mine...though it’s not comparable to stock lol.

 

Dude you need to get the OV ECU tune!!
My truck pulls like stock with 35's on. Throttle response is 10x better too.

 

I know! But the monies! Who did that again? I may do it before I regear and lock.
