I used 6 cans the first time.
I plan on using only 3-4 cans this year since the insides of the frame are still wet

Also, if you remove the plastic bed rail caps, you have plenty of access to the inside of the bed. Especially the wheel well area. Easy to do.
While the caps are off you can wax the top of the bed rails.

Hear, hear! I just soaked the inside of my tailgate with CorrosionX. Corrosion is an affront to Zod (KNEEL!), So I try to keep up with it.

Try CRC Heavy Duty Silicone spray on the exhaust. I've got it on everything downstream of the cats, will try it there today.

Its rustolum from walmart auto section, stops rust and protects up to 2000 degrees. Figured it would work great and is clear so cant even tell its there!

I just purchase a can of Fluid Film. I was wondering if is ok to spray it in the cold? I'm just spraying the whole rear axle. Thanks.

    Can’t hurt.
I’ve done my yearly spray of the whole undercarriage as late as the middle of this month.

I love FF and have used it for years. That said, I think you may be somewhat disappointed in the protection it offers on something like your rear axle - particularly the front side of it. The problem is that FF - even after it "cures" - is still very soft. That means that in applications where there is road spray hitting it on a regular basis, it'll wear off pretty quickly. And since the front side of your rear axle gets blasted pretty well ... The back side of your rear axle will probably fare much better.

this is the problem i found with FF. it attracts faaaar too much dirt and gunk. my frame now looks like theres a layer of sludge covering it from all the dust and FF.

    It is better than rust.

I'm using Woolwax this year--thicker than Fluid Film and just as messy. I sprayed my truck last week-it is still burning off the exhaust.

That looks nice enough to eat off . So what do you use to clean it with ? You pressure wash it for summer and then FF it in the fall ?
