Privacy Alert - Spokeo.com

One of my FB buddies posted this privacy alert and I wanted to pass it along. If you go to www.spokeo.com and type in your name it will pull up your listing. The information is generally inaccurate but it lists a lot of personal information. It looks like its the kind of stuff gathered off of product registration forms and other such short surveys.

You can delete your listing by clicking Privacy in the lower right, copying and pasting the URL of your listing, and entering your email. Once you get the email, click the link to delete the listing. I have a separate junk gmail account that I use for suspect things like this and it worked fine.

 

under privacy you can remove your information. I did this for the two entries that had some old info on me becuase one of them had my cell number.

Thanks for the heads up. Just deleted my wife and i. It actually showed a picture of the house and street we live on.

 

Saw this shit the other day. LOL, 1+ million dollar house in a below avg neighborhood with new address but old phone number with 3 people listed as living there but only 2 names listed. Stupid enough to be dangerous tho. My co-worker's wife was listed as male and his 8 yr old son was listed as 40 yrs old. Good stuff, will kill my listing. If I wanted to be so public I'd spin up a fucking wastoid facebook or myspace page or twitter my every fucking move...just farted, turtlehead near, better go send it towards the ocean, please be neat and wipe your seat and don't get any on your feet. Oh, so much better, headed back to my preassigned workstation, more to come. World is so retarded nowadays. No such thing as personal information anymore, sounds so stupid whenever I even hear that phrase.
