Hey guys question here, can I transport a 20lbs propane tank horizontally? I made a research but no real answers... I know I can't use it on its side, just want to know if it is safe for the tank (mostly the valve system) to be on its side.

Thanks! Just trying to figure where I would put it if I ever build myself a unistrut rack like EST did lol I would like to try to keep gas and other flamable product outside of the cab. For a smelling reason and also security. I know propane tank are safe but if it can go on the top why not then!

Thats what I think also. With their round base, smaller than the tank diameter it makes it hard to strap it well

not to sounds dumb but is a 20lber like a regular bbq tank? if so, put it in a milk crate, that way u can put it upright. we have all our propane tanks in milk crates, makes for easier transportation/securing

I passed out at 10:30. Woke up at 7am with no alarm. It was great.

But then I remembered I needed to come to work. Then it sucked

I got a haircut before I got home, unpacked, mowed the lawn, then plopped down on the couch. My feet were killing me. I need to use cruise control more :bananadead:

Then I watched a really bad movie that was 2 hours long, looked for something else to watch, before I checked the clock. Saw the time, then ran to bed.
