Warranty package

Who else was dumb enough to buy the gold ext warranty. I payed 2700.00 for 5 yr bumper to bumper. Is this a outrageous price? If so , I will go in and cancel and get credited .

Depends on what's covered, is it only time dependent or time and miles which ever comes first, how many miles do you drive per year, how many miles are on the truck, who is the warranty through?

 

I just bougt my truck, 2014, 9800 miles on it, 100,000 miles or 5 years . I will hit 5 yrs first. 2022.
Basically like a new cars 3yr warranty. I bought it fir piece if mind. How much did anyone else pay. Cant find anything on this.

 

USAA ... 50,000 bumper to bumper ... $0.00 deductible ... $1600

 

I paid 950.00 in Mass for a 7 year/100,000 mile after calling around for the lowest price.

 

You paid about double what I did.

There can be a HUGE difference in mark-up on warranties. Son just bought a vehicle, talked them down from $1700 to $1100 for a 125k mile warranty. [used another dealers quote who has the lowest prices to make them match it.]
