Radio wiring 2000 tacoma

Hi everybody! ...thanks for having me here!
I just got a Tacoma 4x4 V6 manual w/tachometer. There are lots of electrical issues I am trying to fix. Right now I am installing an aftermarket stereo (alpine) with some tacoma harness that do not match wires colors...could you guys help me get them together in the right way?...attached are pics of both ends of the problem.
A white/green color wire comes from a group of wires (mainly rear speakers ones)
the other group (front speakers, battery and ground) have one red/blue wire, one green/red and one red/white wires, that I can not match to;
one orange/black on one harness, and orange/white, blue/white and blue wires of the other harness.

did you cut the wires or were they like that?

most radios you can just buy the wiring harness that will connect to the factory plugs, saving frustration with matching colors

Wires were cut by previous owner, and he did a pretty lousy job, dashboard cluster dimmable lights are "off" too.
Thanks for the link but it does not tell me, what those wires are for (white/green, red/blue, red white, and red/blue).

 

So I taped all wires that I could not identified its function and...VOILA!!! everything works now, even the dashboard lights!!!
and I still wander what those wires are for (white/green, red/blue, red white, and red/blue).!

Just don't understand why people have to do that, just get a harness...

 

Are both front and rear speakers working?
