Firearm BS thread

Anybody ever have an issue with a Benelli Nova pump not releasing after firing a round? I was shooting skeets the other day and this began. It’s brand new and I’ve only fired 27 rounds through it before this began. I fire, go to pump to expell the spent shell and the pump doesn’t move. Also, the pump release mechanism is in the release position. Any help out there? I really don’t want to send it back to Benelli if I can avoid it.

The issue that I’m having is the second one he was talking about. The one where the pump is open that 1/8” after firing a round. The difference is that when I slide the pump forward it still doesn’t release the pump. Thanks for the video though.

Who's getting a shield m2.0? No wonder smith and Wesson had so many rebates, they were trying to get rid of all the old shields.

Maybe I'll get one...Maybe I'll get a 1.0 from someone selling one cheap. I need to shoot a Shield and an XDS side by side to settle a long going mental debate between the two pistols.

 

I own a Shield in 40 cal and a Cds in 9.

You will not settle the debate with any other conclusion than....

A nice bright red light just gives your enemy something to aim at, and also lets him know what part of him you plan on putting a round into. I prefer some trijicon night sights, and the element of surprise.

 

I would agree if you are referring to flashlights that everyone wants to put on their weapons, Laser's are really not visible except on the target end and if they are scanning their body for my laser, they are not watching for me.

 

Better trigger and a little bit lighter. I'd buy the 2.0 if I already didn't have the original as not worth spending another $400 on the same pistol.

 

Didn't take very long as I already had a bench grinder/buffer. Just switched out to a polishing wheel and used a polishing compound. I did notice that the mags now slips and in and out easier besides looking good.
