Spending tonight at home for the first time in 6 days, definitely bittersweet.

Anybody in the area need a hot shower or some food, place to sleep, tools, whatever. I’m officially home and open.

 

My friends office in Santa Rosa is stocked full of supplies. Anybody in need of who knows someone in need please send them his way.

If they’re without transportation and are local I can offer a ride to the office and back to their evacuation center.

A reminder to all in.smokey area swap your cabin filter. Amazon has these pontiac ones for around4$, ive seen ones with charcoal from i think k+n, though not sure if worth it. Be safe out there ive seen a few accidents on the road alot of people are stressed and texting etc.

My friends Harley, you can see the molten metal rivers from below the frame. This is the family that had to abandon their getaway vehicle because the tires were on fire. Note the modded pre-taco Toyotas that were lost as well.

So sorry. Not sure what your circumstances are but definitely visit the fema center downtown if you have not already. The United Way has a booth there but you can go directly to their offices at
975 Corporate Center Pkwy #160, Santa Rosa, CA 95407
They are offering immediate assistance for all those affected by the fire.
If you are over 60 "Shared Housing and Resource Exchange program, or SHARE" is offering places to stay, several of my friends families have been provided free temporary housing through this program. @Cuffs started this thread below, TW is there for its members. I am in Sebastopol and if you need anything let me know.

I guess the reason I never saw any of these threads is because I never venture out of the NorCal Spotted and BS thread. TW is a scary place.
