Awesome wheels!! I didn't know they would look as good as they do with the Inferno color

Does anyone know the color code for the black flares around the wheel wells (that is, assuming there is one)?

They aren't painted, they are unpainted black plastic. They cost about $120 to replace.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Sounds like they might fade like other black plastic parts on the vehicle over time, so I'll have to take a best guess at which matte paint to go with. I have an '08 that I'm looking to rejuvenate and like the look of the Inferno with the black flares instead of sticking with mold in-color.

Try a product like "wipe new"... It really brings the life back into old plastic and faded parts..!!

Go to any automotive store and look for "trim paint" in a can, that's your best bet more than likely. They do sell stuff that advertises to bring back plastic and rubber but from my experience that stuff doesn't restore well once it's damaged or faded. Your mileage may very.

Depending on how meticulous you are about your truck, I'd recommend using 303 aerospace protectant (https://www.amazon.com/303-30313-CS...spons&keywords=303+aerospace+protectant&psc=1) little more difficult to find in store but, does a great job of keeping the color. Otherwise any of the products listed above will work just as well and easily found.

Yeah, you really need to see the Inferno in the sun. There's nothing like it for sure.

It's also pretty spectacular at night down at the beach, POW! Muy Caliente!

I was out with the family looking at open houses on Sunday and saw a fellow Inferno Taco. Had to park across the street and snap a pic. Sport / Off Road

I have a funny story just like that, my wife and I had to park across the street from a little roadside diner and when we came out, I looked out my truck and then froze at the same time my wife froze and looked at me and I looked at her and said what the F someone is in my truck. At that same moment the other lady in my neighborhood that also owns an inferno had stopped at the light directly and perfectly beside my truck, LOL I thought my heart was going to explode

    o_O

    Funny.

I wanted an inferno truck but my wife was suggesting other options, one of them being MGM. We went out to eat and pulled into park next to 3 MGM Tacomas, 2 2nd gens and 1 3rd gen. That’s when I determined we are at least getting a 3rd gen exclusive color. I know, Inferno was a ‘15 Pro color, but close enough.

Only 2 I was interested in was Inferno and Quicksand. She hated Quicksand. I liked it because I had a 70 FJ40 that was a similar color..... nostalgia.
