A/C makes cold air

    but it does not blow the air...at one time it would occasionally blow air if you hit a bump or would drive for a while above 40 mph. But if you turn the car off it may or may not come back on again. The fan control has no affect on the air

    Also check the plug at the base of the blower for a loose connection, I had the exact described issue before and it ended up being the wire was melting the plug and the spade connectors were shorting between hot and neutral.
