    Hey Everyone!

I just recently picked up a 2017 Tacoma and am looking for suggestions. I would like to put a lift kit on but am not sure what to look for. I don't want anything too wild I'd say 4-6 inch max. What would you recommend?

Also, with the lift should I or would I need to run bigger tiers?

I appreciate all the help and suggestions you are willing to offer.

    Thank you!

Do you need to know, or care?
Welcome! 4" to 6" is pretty radical for a lift. 2" is more the norm. Are you planning on some rock crawling?

I would like to but if I do it wouldn't be very often. Mainly looking for a "better" look.

Stay under 3" and for "looks" you can go with bilsteins or basic OME kit

This is before and after a 2" OME lift on stock tires:

I went Bilstein 6112/5160 with wheelers AAL. I set the fronts at 5/6 and kept the stock tires/ wheels. Looks and rides great!

How much lift did that give you?

Just as advertised. It lifted the front two inches, the rear 1.5 inches and got rid of the "Taco Lean."

4-6" lift is pretty wild....... especially if you keep stock tires.
