Your boots, not important. Wear snowshoes instead. Youre both invited.

Lol don't let a torn axle boot stop you from getting out. People drive on torn axle boots for YEARS. In fact, outside of Tacomaworld, I'd bet almost EVERYONE drives on them for years.

I don't even have boots on my CVs because you can't tear a boot if you don't have any.

anyone have Maxtrax or similar like Maxsa escape buddy? A friend is selling his unused Maxsa set for half price of new. I haven't found myself ever needing them before as long as I have a winch and a tree or another rig. But for 75 bucks maybe.

I think that rotopax and traction boards are starting to look gay on shit that doesn't really need them. amirite?

    because

At the Overland rally this summer we used the shit out of @AWilson013 and @utroda TREDPros and MaxTrax. They saved our ass big time in a couple spots.

After hearing about the warranty on the TREDPros I'm pretty much sold on them when I get a set.

I've used mine a few times in the snow and early spring & late fall in the mud. I find its easier to undo a few straps and lay them out before pulling winch line.

I'm sold on the things just for ease of use. If you buy them youll find yourself using the shit out of them. But I agree, I'm seeing them on way too many mall crawlers.

I've spent years digging snowmobiles out of the snow and shoving plywood under the tracks to try and give it purchase. Maxtrax are similar but purpose built.

I am almost always alone, and I don't have a winch so a shovel and a set of maxtrax are the next best thing.

I guess I'll just grab them for the price.

I had a jeep in Issaquah wave at me because he also had an RTT? Like we're expo blood brothers now. First time ever a jeep waved at me.

Used mine to get Johns Jeep unstuck. I have shittybilt tracks. Worked surprisingly well!
I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time getting his jeep unstuck. Hmmmm.....

Where you thinking about going? I'm probably a no because of my house, but I could really use some time in the woods right now.

Also, I have the Maxsa boards and they're great for the money. I can destroy them three times for the price of MaxTrax.
