    OP, is your truck an auto or 6 speed manual? I think that's gonna be the deciding factor. Auto no problem, but the 6speeds have a pretty high reverse gear ratio.

    I'm going to give it a shot next time I have to load something heavy into the bed. I hauled off my old beer fridge this week and it was a pain in the ass with the truck facing uphill. Not to mention that one mistake can send cargo careening down the mountain while leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
