Got my winch mounted to the bumper. The top housing was a SOB to get mounted(seen this in reviews). I stripped the bolts then ran to the hardware store and used a few washers to make it all fit better. By the time I had it on the bumper I was ready to call it quits for the night. I'll get on the truck tomorrow and wired. I just have to drive to work with no front bumper. IMG_6920.jpg

So the AllPro transmission skid apparently isn't made to be used with a sway bar, it rubs. Which is really annoying that they don't mention that anywhere on there website. Any way I used some big washers where it mounts to the rear cross member to give it a bit of space. Hopefully it's enough if not I'll grab longer bolts and more washers.

Subbed! I think I might have to do that with my skids...its pretty tight but my sway bar clears it barely

Edit: I went with 4.56 gearing and havent sacrificed much in high speed and my low end torque is way better and has good get up n go with all my added weight n 33s...I would recommend it when you regear.

Yeah the skid plate thing was pretty annoying, I feel like All Pro doesnt do a very good when it comes to stuff like that. They also gave me hardware that wouldnt work and advised me to get the Standard leaf pack when looking back the expo leafs would have been a much better option. Overall, I think if i were to do it again I would go with relentless or CBI over the All Pro products.

Ill keep that in mind about the gearing, I will do it someday but not anytime soon. My wallet has done enough for the truck lately and needs to start paying off debit now.

Contacted All Pro today explaining my dissatisfaction with their standard leafs that they recommend I get after I explained to them my setup(camper shell, bed platform and camping gear. I’m hoping We can work something out so that I can swap to the expos.

I filled my gas tank up today and I have an inch difference in ride height on the left side due to the weight. I would just add an add a leaf but they are constructed in a way that you can’t do that easily.

Time will tell what they will do for me. If they do nothing, I will sell them and get a different brand. I have allpro bumper, skids and sliders, their geeasable shackle bolts and diff drop. It’s safe to say I’ve been a loyal customer, so I’ll be pretty pissed if they disregard my complaints.

Made some 1/4” carrier bearing spacers. Hopefully to help with axle wrap/vibrations. I made two sets so I’m going to start with 1/4” and if I need to jump up to 1/2”.

Made a notch in my grill so that it’s easier to access my power button and plug. Figured in the time of “oh shit I need to use the winch” I don’t want to be fumbling around trying to get it on and running. Lol I’d probably end up breaking it.

Step one towards tundra brakes: wheelers SS brake lines. For 50% off can’t beat that! 8AEF8E86-75B7-4257-A6CF-11895E746A93.jpg

Picked up some 13WL calipers off a 07 sequoia. Started to clean them up, going to call toyota tomorrow and get the rebuild kit, rotors and brake pads ordered up. I was thinking I about painting them a bright color(orange like my skids) but I think I will do black as I think it will look cleaner that way.690F493F-B5EE-4786-BB94-18F2A2D8D697.jpg

Love your trail pics. What are your favorite spots? Mine are in Sierra National Forest, so many awesome campsites and trails. Ever run Shuteye Peak?
