On @Ag63i2 we pounded a socket on the cap, and held the driveshaft on the edge of a block of wood. One of the ujoints did get the cutoff wheel

You soak them in any degreasing stuff? ATF/Mineral spirits? Or PB blaster?

I did mine with a vise easy peasy. Sucks they are fused.

An update @TMFF offered his press for me to use. Thank you sir! I was able to get half off and use a cut off wheel for the other half. I kind of pealed some of the inside of the yoke but the cup still sits tight inside. However while pressing one of the cups into the yoke and on the u-joint I pressed it in with the open end of the socket and cracked it. I should of pressed it with the closed end down. So now I have to buy another u-joint to get a cup and finish the job tomorrow. Oh well. Live and learn. No biggie.

For the most part it's put together except this one cap.

So the yoke and u joint is fixed. I took the truck out for a test drive and the vibes went away. Awesome! Right, I guess until I got the urge to push it on a dirt road by my house. the fucking truck stalled! Motor sounded fine but didn't want to go in gear. SOB! I didn't want to turn off the motor and kept trying to get it in gear. Finially I decided to call my insurance company for a tow back home. So I decided what the hell might as well turn off the truck and see if it turns back on since I'm sitting on hold. It started and it now goes into gear. So I drove it home and it seemed fine. But I have a check engine light on. Fun times... now I need to find my Bluetooth adapter to check it out. I'll keep you guys posted.

Well after going to vatozone to get a OBD2 reader for rent. It gives me this code P2112. So I took apart my intake of to see what's going on. It doesn't seem like it's working right.

Quick update, I took apart the intake and cleaned up the inside of the throttle body and put everything back together. Started the truck and the code cleared itself. I didn't know it can clear itself. Took it on a test drive for 15 mins and got it up to 75ish and still no check engine light so far. So i'll watch it for the next few days and hopefully the dirty throttle body was the issue.

    Perfect!

What are you running for bumps? Just the flipped over stock ones?

:anonymous: I was just thinking if no secondary can handle BBR then I'll be good

Nope youlll have to drill and tap the frame. I have mine mounted here. I set the bumps up to sit flush against the frame. The LCA hits the bump at an angle but that isn’t a big deal. As long as the back of the bump is flush it will be strong. I had to add a spacer between the bump and frame because that’s how I wanted it. You’ll have to cycle your front to see if you need spacers or not. I have a vid on my set up in the 20’s pages of my build on how I set up my bumps. But here’s some pics.

In this first image you can see how much shaft is showing and that’s without a spacer and no force of impact. That’s just a raised LCA with a jack. That’s why I added spacers. 2nd image shows spacers.

Yeah we already drilled and tapped the frame and flipped over the OEM bump stops from the factory LCA's. That's what the TC kit had us do. I'm just trying to figure out the bolt/pitch since the TC instructions don't tell me other than "use the provided drill bit and tap" but it's the same as the factory one. If I could order those and screw them right in, perfect lol
