Found myself earlier this morning on the dark side of YouTube, seems like Chevy knocked it out of the park with their midsize 4x4, everything you need right out of the box. Check out the video link below. Thoughts?

I mean when you factor in taxes and fees, you're gonna end up spending around $50,000 for it. If you're trying to have everything right off the bat why not just go for something like a raptor, probably around the same price? Seems a little ridiculous to me :alien:

Buy a used one in 5 years and tell me how to goes.
Actually buy a used one of either in 2 years and let me know how it goes.

But you do get a bit of that Blazer 2 lineage! I mean, the hummer engineers don’t joke around.

I can't remember GM putting in this much effort in their small Trucks before. Still wouldn't buy one though. Happy with my Toyota.

They now there’s a lot of money to be spent in the smaller truck class, they pretty much have the full size class covered

I'll take a TRD PRO Tacoma over one of these any day, something about the design of the Colorado (even in the ZR2) reminds me of a truck version of an 2000's Impala.

I am interested that Chevy put a front locker in. I wonder how that will work for them. Front lockers need careful consideration on an IFS truck. You can really tear your front end apart if you are not careful in its use. In short.......IFS front lockers are not for the inexperienced, uninformed, or unaware, IMHO.

I would like to know which of these statements is true (just guesses):

#1 - GM put incredibly robust CV joints and other front end components in this truck so newbs can wheel the snot out of the truck with the front locker on, no issues at all. Thing is a tank.

#2- GM has a system that disengages the front locker before the breaking point is reached.

#3- GM is banking on less than 1% of drivers ever locking the front and can suffer a few warranty claims for those that do. The front locker is simply a sales gimmick feature that a few hardcore wheelers will understand and use correctly, most will never use, and a few with grenade the whole system, but that’s ok.

I don’t think it would take much to have a front E-locker in a Tacoma, but I think Toyota hesitates as a lot of people actually take their Tacoma’s off road and I think Toyota is worried about the sheer number of warranty issues etc with busted front ends if they offered an IFS truck with front locker. Their solid axle landcruisers have front and rear lockers.

Colorado's beds look like they trying to pick up a penny with how slanted down forward they are. The tailgate is so tall too, the whole bed just looks so off.
