Guess it's worth paying for the higher octane?

They have an 87 octane tune as well as a 91+ octane tune. I pump 93 for all the power gainzzzz! lol

ECM Tune that completely changes the way the truck behaves. Not only does it increase HP it also fixes the downfalls in the truck’s driveability. The best thing that this tune has fixed I think is the throttle lag when stepping on the gas. There has been many occasions when I have tried to pass on the highway or when I have come out of a parking lot only to find a truck that is not responsive. I actually first noticed it when approaching an intersection and the light turned yellow, I smashed the pedal only for the truck to take seconds before it acted. The next fix is the constant hunting in gears where the transmission would drop gears at the slighest feather of the pedal or incline. It does a better job of holding gears without bouncing through gears. The truck also drives smooth, it is refined, it feels lighter, agile and responsive.

I also believed it fixed the rev hang in the Manual Transmission and accelerator response while in gear.

    Hey David,

What area are you in? Any chance I could ride with you in your truck to see how it drives? The gear hunting and holding on inclines is annoying af.

Also would love to hear that URD exhaust in person :D

Nah I'm in MI, I work off site. Only time I go to SAMMC is when my accident prone wife has hurt herself again. We almost had to go there because she tripped over a plastic stool that she uses in the kitchen to reach the microwave.

It was a good one, got me nice and motivated for my 17 hour Staff Duty shift starting @1600 with a 12 hour work shift the following night @1800. Lots of running going to happen in the next 72 hours to keep myself awake

Hour 13 of Staff Duty: Have drank 6 cups of coffee, 1 24oz Monster, and half a gallon of water to stay awake. Aside from giving bladder a workout, have not been able to shake exhaustion. Saw pack of hogs on Arms room check, saw the only other customized 2nd GEN in my unit, it was pretty. Back to fighting the urge to sleep.
