Four corners... New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah......

    Monument Valley
    Valley of the Gods
    Petrified Forest
    Sedona
    Sandia Peak Tram
    Grand Canyon
    Enchanted Circle

    Are on our list.

Wife wants to hotel it... hope to talk her into a night or two of camping but not likely. We do plan on trying some local brews....

What else should we see do?

20170529_190251.jpg If you're near Durango, check out Vallecito Reservoir. You can rent nice cabin, restaurants/bars to eat and drink. Plenty of places to stay/see in Durango.

So I'm thinking four days total to drive if you push it, that would'nt give you much time to hang out. Hell, I would just go to Moab and hang out, plenty to see and do there for several days.Honestly your talking about a vast area to see with not alot of time. Go to Moab.

When you're there, you should see approximately 4 corners.

Don't try to do to much -- a lot of those places "seem" close together on the map, but in reality are long drives apart. Choose a few places you really want to see and enjoy and spend some quality time there, not on the road.

Sedona is a neat town but these days it seems like it's all about shopping and Western art stuff. Unless you're headed there to be in Red Rock or the outskirts, I'd say skip it. BUT -- if you're out that way, there's a cool old mining town called Jerome up in the hills not far from Sedona... that place is pretty cool. Also in that area is the Cottonwood Railroad, which is a pretty neat train ride -- might be good if you have kids.

And yea, pack for cold nights.

Have fun. So much beautiful country out there. Enjoy!

Fun fact: the 4 corners marker that all the people take a picture of their foot being in 4 states is like 200 yards from the ACTUAL 4 corners intersection...I believe it was a ranger told me that once after hours at a bar or something. The real one is off in the barren sand.
