I went with the Atoto Android head unit . All the parts got delivered today. Will hope to have it installed in a couple days . My goal is to retain stock backup camera and steering wheel controls. Here are pics of all the parts I purchased for the install .

Why did you choose ATOTO over the others? I'm a big fan of my joying.

    4 main reason:
    1. Perfect flush fit with the Metra dash kit. I know most Chinese Android head units are a little bit bigger than the standard double din and require modification of the dash kit to install.
    2. I like the clean look of the radio without any knobs and it has white illuminated buttons to match the stock dash lights.
    3. Atoto bootup time is only 2 seconds compared to 20 - 30 seconds on other units.
    4. Cost just about $210.00 with Amazon 3 year protection plan

I bought everything on Amazon except for the 28 pin adapter. I bought that plug from a member on here.

The 28pin adapter, was that made by the member or "store bought" and resold to you?

I would of went with Joying myself but it does look like a nice fit though. I'm doing a 8" upgrade that will fit on outside. Hoping to angle it more vertical then the stock slant. Cant wait to see pics when its done!

By they way boot up time on new joying radios if you set it to never shut off the boot up is instant.

I'm not on here to debate Atoto vs Joying . Ive read all the reviews and they both have their pros and cons. I was also thinking of going with the bigger unit but I don't like the detachable face option . I remember when I had the Keneood pullout in my 1992 Supra . I pulled it out for the first couple weeks, then after a while I got lazy and just left it in there, and of coarse I got my windows broken. I know I would end up doing the same. So I decided to go with a unit that fits in the dash . I've have an 8" Pumkin unit in my Prius and love the bigger display though . Hope you enjoy you Joying unit .

lol just re-read what I just wrote . That's how I got my daughter as well ... lol

This is who I purchased it from . I'm probably going to only use it for the steering wheel controls. I'm still going to have to splice up the stock rear camera harness to integrate it since I can't find an adapter for that plug .

Unit is installed I got everything working except for the reverse camera . I'm going to order another harness so I do not have to cut any factory wires. I was able to get the steering wheel button working without any extra adapters, but was not able to program all the buttons on my steering wheel controls . But the ones I were able to program are enough to control most functions I use. Sound is much better than the stock Entune radio.

Looks good so far. Did you connect the headunit to XM radio? Does it support XM?

How has the head unit been working out for you? I love the clean look compared to the Joying. I am thinking about picking one up. Any issues with Bluetooth?
