At this point it really is necessary. I cut the fender well liners to install the bumper and that now allows water right into the intake area. I found a bunch of mud in my air filter awhile back, so snorkel time became mandatory.

Thats badass!!! There is one for sale close to my home, land rover discovery, 2000-2002 is my guess... I wish I could afford a 2nd rig! It seems to need repairs too. I spotted it a while ago, always parked at the same spot with 2 flats haha

How did you like the ride??

Ahh I thought you tried it. But still a cool rig! I would like to have a buddy with one so I can try it! I saw another one also, in a scrap yard, with a ARB bumper on it! But if it is in a scrap yard I guess I don't roll anymore...

I should! I could sell it after but I don't think there is a lot of land rover offroaders around here lol. Land rover/range rovers are more driven by rich mamas hahaha

Been wheeling a lot lately...life is good. Been putting the winch to good use too because of the rain.

Pictures don't do this hill justice, but it is steep.

Started tearing apart the LCA's today. The front cam bolts are frozen up real nice! No lube or anti-seize on the cam bolts...nice job Toyota! Had to sawzall one of them out, that was fun lol.

Going to make the fall crawl?

I did that a few years ago, no fun at all. Now they are covered in anti-sieze and I pull them once a year to clean/ regrease.

Yeah, I am totally adding that to my routine maintenance. Ended up having to drill out the sleeve from the bushing. Hopefully I don't have to replace the bushing too.

Anyhow, can't make time for Fall Crawl this year. Just too busy with the family. I do plan on getting a solid moderate run together sometime soon though. Maybe do this year's Yota run again, that is a nice route.

Yess, I want to do papa bear. I may not be able to make it either, too much shit around the house I didn't get done last weekend. And I need to drag the dishwasher out in preparation for the new one coming next week as it decided to shit the bed.

So I went wheeling today. It was a winch fest:

Notice in the following photo the Carhart laying on the winch line for safety:

Here is a test\ fro you: now in this picture where is the coat?

Yup, thats right, I sucked it right into the winch without thinking lol! Took an hour to pull and cut it out (which my wife kindly did for me). I realized something today -> a bumper that hides the winch is a PITA. I am going to figure a way to cut an access hole from the top without ruining the structural integrity of the bumper.

Hahaha the things you learn. You should just get a winch dampener

    https://www.amazon.com/Superwinch-2...qid=1509927641&sr=1-3&keywords=winch+dampener

Also I like to watch recovery videos. This is a good one. Never thought it
