Yeah your absolutely right, I would've done 888s with rci sliders and skids. But I'm still happy with the lift. Luckily coils are only about $200 :taco:

sent this to an off road shop nearby :
The set up I want to go with 2886 Coils ( I will install an off road bumper in the future roughly 160 lbs) - Daker leafs - OME Nitro Shocks - Total Chaos Upper Control arms (unless you recommend something else)

--they responded with "We do not recommend using any aftermarket UCAs with OME suspension – the OME struts cannot use the additional articulation, and may cause the struts to break if that movement is used off-road. If you want more articulation, we suggest installing an Icon Vehicle Dynamics suspension with UCSa instead of the OME system."

im confused, what to do, what to dooooo

They have no clue what they are talking about. ARB states that aftermarket UCAs are unnecessary with their OME line, but they don’t say it will cause damage. The front suspension isn’t using the upper control arm as the limiter for the uptravel or downtravel. And OME kits do not give you any extra travel whether you have aftermarket UCAs or not. The only thing aftermarket UCAs will do, is allow you to get good alignment specs, some even allow caster adjustments which the factory don’t, and they will also prevent you from overextended an upper ball joint.

Yeah, sounds like a sales pitch to get a IVD suspension sold
