How do you know if the wheel is “hub centric”? Not sure if I’d do a 285....

You want to look at the center bore size. Yours should be like 106mm. So you'll want wheels with a hub size as close to that as possibly. It will eliminate some possibilities of vibrations. If your wheels have a hub size to large then it will have to try and be centered perfectly by the lug nuts, which is difficult

I found a wheel I like but the bore on it is 108mm but our taco's are 106mm.... Discount Tire Direct Rep says that wheel doesn't require a hub ring and should be fine.... Still a chance to vibrate OR not seat right?

I think that would look great, less chance of rub than 285
