I don't know. I set it on my leg when I need it while towing or for mapping. Not sure where to mount

please let me know which app you use. I have read that Apple does allow apps to allow 'chaging of code' so it's hard for the apps to allow the creation of custom PIDs.

I used torque app on 2nd gen I can confirm that it worked with 6s I had.
I’m using iPhone X now, I don’t see it being an issue.
Won’t be able to check today as I haven’t been able to get dongle back that I loaned to someone. Though I still think it’ll work

Can you post a photo of the custom PID screen so I can see what the fields are called? Or just list the fields and what you entered, please. Would be helpful. I'll give you 10 Tacoma points. They can be traded for truck love but hold no other value

Thank you! I will include this in the first post with a credit to you.
I was wondering if they broke up the mode and PID like some other android apps

Now with Apple Support! You will need a different OBD2 dongle because the Apple devices don't allow bluetooth connection to dongles like these. @Hank Heel has shown that OBD Fusion App from the Apple iTunes store allows the creation of custom PIDs. *I cannot say what values these entries default to, so I can not bold the ones which need to be changed*

This worked well and nicely with Torque Pro and S7 Samsung.
I've been looking and waiting for this to be available.
Can I push it... Does any one know how to get Oil temp? the built in function in Torque doesn't show but 0*.

    Thank you to the OP,

I can ask the devs if they can find it. It takes a few days of testing

Do you know how many oil temp sensors there are?

I did obd fusion , iPhone 6, and a kewi3 reader. I paid the extra 10 bucks and the two trans temps are there, no custom pid needed.

What is the location of each temp sensor? 1 and 2?

TF1 is in the pan and TF2 is as oil exits the converter

Can you check if the 10 dollar package has oil temps?
