I was shopping for wheels after i got mine, and i've decided to keep the OEM. The only ones i found that i really liked were the Te37s, and they are just too damn expensive.

I want these ones. But really want to see them on a truck. Haven’t found anyone else yet with them.

A very real analogy. I like this.

... and weight, load strength, size, clearance, etc.

Aesthetics is one of those factors, but you can't discredit the rest of the science behind them.

You should find what works best for you and stick with it! Everyone has a different purpose for their rig and everyone has the right to build as they see fit. There's no room to hate on someone else's choices because they don't line up with yours, we're all here to enjoy the world of Tacomas!

Thanks for hearing me out!

Most aftermarket wheels look great standing alone, but then don't match the truck at all.

It's a sweet science finding balance with the aesthetics, and honestly ... not many on here find it unless they stick with OEM options.

OP -- let's get you some vintage, forged wheels from Japan. Price is way less then what you're (probably) anticipating.

You have pics on your truck? Only thing I notice is they don’t have those in an all blacked out option.

I would stick with something hubcentric and for the love of god, no 20's please! You may not off-road but its still a truck-you should never have to worry about curbing a wheel on a truck, leave the low profile tires to sports cars!

Unless you LOVE spending tons of time detailing wheels, or you don't care how dirty they are, stay away from those wheels with all the intricacies. Really for a good looking and budget friendly wheel, I'd recommend SCS.

How come yours don’t have the bead lock? I like them without it. What’s the exact model name of that exact wheel?

I want the fuel Vapors, with a negative offset. That much I know... what I don't know is what tires and lift setup I am going with.

I also know TW is making me spend money on MODs.:pccoffee:

I notice they only come in 16 or 18. Which are yours? Wondering if I do the 18s if I’ll need a lift on the truck.
