While going through my glove compartment I found the original window sticker. It’s pretty old so not everything is legible but still pretty cool.
Update: Sounds like I might be buying a Can-Back topper for my truck in the next 2-3 weeks.

Picked up a awesome condition black Can-Back yesterday. I found a hole in my bed after removing my plastic bed liner so now I have to get that welded up. Once that’s fixed the beds going to get lineX or Rhino lined.

Future plans for the Can-Back are to add cross bars and buy a RTT for the top of it. After that I will probably look into bumpers.

Welcome to the rare color fam  Was lazy and copied the photo from my FB so quality is crap. But you get the idea lol. Definitely sub'd this build man!

So after taking out the drop in bed liner I found some holes. Had a buddy patch them up and just got the truck back from line X. Extremely happy with the results. Also some pics from our camping adventure.

You should make a thread for sure. What front bumper is that? I’m wanting something like that.

One of these days haha. But it's a Chassis Unlimited bumper, I think I got it for about $400 shipped and unpainted? I have plans to fab in some clear and amber fog lights in the openings.

Because of it being cyber Monday, I made the decision to buy a ARB air locker for the rear of my truck. Sounds like I might also be getting a chassis unlimited bumper in the next month from the wife. I'm going to be ready to do some serious wheeling come spring of this next year. Anyone know how much it should cost to install a ARB air locker?

Depends if your pinion has any play. In most cases it’s a matter of new carrier bearings and maybe a shim kit $100. The rest is labor which will depend on where you take it. That will range around $180-300. That’s typically if you pull the 3rd member out yourself. Plus you’ll also need you still and tap the housing to run the air line into the diff

Little update: The truck was just dropped off at 4wheel parts here in Cincinnati. Having them do some work for me.

    they are:
    -rebuilding rear end
    -installing air locker and compressor
    -coolant flush
    -new Odyssey battery
-new diff, transfer case and tranny fluids

I also was given a light bar and rock sliders for Christmas so they will be installed in the next couple weeks. Pics soon, should be back by Friday.

Now that it’s finally warm out I have some pics of recent work. Ended up going with a compressor and tank so I can air up tires. Getting ready for a weekend trip to the trails mid February.

    Shop work:
    -Drive train full check
-All new fluids in diff, tranny, tcase
-new poly bushings in lower control arms
-poly bushings in leaf springs and shackles
    -3galon air tank and compressor
-rear end rebuild with arb locker install
-arb air solinoid block for rear air line, rear ARB and future front ARB
-rear backing plates were falling apart and had to be replaced.

We also bought a TuffStuff 4x4 Elite 5 person RTT and ordered cross bars for the Can-Back

Well looks like I might be having some issues. Upon opening my tent box last weekend, I see I have a hole all the way through the bottom of the tent along with a dent. Currently in a claims process with paypal to see about getting it resolved. They told me they couldn't send me a replacement.

Got stuck today on my first trip off-road with the new locker. Ended up airing down to about 17psi to get out. What’s the lowest you can run in tires on the trails?

Yeah I made the mistake of backing and sliding into that hole while trying to turn around. The picture dosnt really do it justice, I was in pretty deep on the passenger side. thought I might have been screwed. Couldn’t move even in 4 low and rear locked. Glad airing down worked.

I have the exact same tire and rim setup so it’s good to know I can run that low if I needed.

A bumper and wench will be in the very near future.

So i was not a fan of getting stuck the other day and decided I need a bumper and wench. Whats the best deal on a plate bumper right now? Would be sweet to be able to mount something before my trip on the 16th even though im sure thats a longshot. I was looking at relentless fab but I cannot find a current tacomaworld discount code. Im really into the moab bumpers, ARB and have looked at the chassis unlimited bumpers too. Would love to hear opinions on what might look good on my truck.
