    No.
It has the same backspace as stock. You'll want 4.5" or less with 3" of lift and UCAs.

The tire is going to poke 2" and the rim 2-1/2". This and the UCAS will put you into the cab mount.

It actually should fit. I ran 18x9 0mm offset (5" backspace) with 305/60r18 tires. Compared to my (old) setup, his tire will be 15mm further away from the UCA, and stick out 5mm less from the fender. Technically, depending on the tire, should fit better than my old setup. I did hit the cab mount if I hit a driveway at an angle too fast. I also have LR UCAs and 3" lift.

I’m currently running 285/75/16 tires on 16x8 +1 offset rims with 2in wheel spacers. 01 Tacoma double cab with 3in lift in front. I don’t really rub unless I’m at full lock and that’s on the very inside of my cab. The question is I’m thinking of getting 20x10s -24 offset. What is the largest tire I can run without any major rubbing?

Looking to pick up some 17x8 6x139.7/6x5.5" black steel wheels for my winter setup. http://www.visionwheel.com/wheel/16376/85-soft-8-gloss-black/

I am BEYOND confused with how this all works. I am coming out of VW/Audi which is strictly offset based.

I have a stock 3rd Gen and looking to put 265/70/17's on these. Will this work?

I finally found the actual wheel... I googled BSM? Which I am assuming is Backspace Measurement which would be 4. Part#85H7883NS

    http://www.visionwheel.com/wheel/16376/85-soft-8-gloss-black/\

So if i understand correctly, these will stick out 1.5" more than my factory wheels.

    2"...
I'd be concerned more about caliper clearance...spokes on a steel wheel tend to head straight from the hub to the flange, leaving little room for brake calipers.

I've tried understanding these offset/backspace things and just cannot get it. I have KMC XD128 wheels and 285/75-16 wildpeaks, fox C/Os at about .75" over stock, stock rear, and my tires rub a lot. I know I want more ride height, but that doesnt fix my rubbing at compression, or other places possibly. Done the body mount chop, trimmed a bunch of fender flare, trimmed a bunch of liner, pounded pinch weld, etc. I ripped my rear flare off when it was stuffed, it rubs on the top of the wheelwell at the fender flare, it rubs somewhere in certain times turned, driving through dips, etc. I feel like my rims must have too little offset/backspace to be able to stuff in the wheelwells correctly. Current rims say 16x8, 0 offset, 4.53" BS. I want something that won't rub, but most aftermarket rims seem to be the same measurements? I'm really looking at TRD Pros, and see they have +13 offset, but i don't see backspacing, don't I need to know that as well?

Yeah, I don't get it either. Can I run:

    1. Mickey Thompson Classic III 15x10 (w/ -45 offset and 3.6 bs)
    w/
    2. 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires

    on

    2001 Tacoma TRD (completely stock)

??? Any help before I hit buy on the websites would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind some trimming and cutting, and I think it is the -45 offset that gives it the deep look I like.

I have a wheel 17x8.5 7 offset with 5” of backspacing and I am looking to run a 275/70-17 tire. I have a 3” lift. Will this rub the UCA?

I’m running 32x11 on 20x10 -24 with 2in spacers and I’m barely rubbing at all. only at full lock turned to the left. Pinch weld pounded down and a few small fender flare trims is all I needed. I also have 3” In the front. But considering your going 1” smaller and half an inch in width, I’d assume you will be alright.

I'm looking to do 18" Moto Metal M0970 Wheels on my 17 TRD sport. I want to go with a slightly more aggressive tire, maybe slightly taller and wider (not wanting to sacrifice many MPG's). I want the tires flush with the fender flares, not sticking i like the factory 17's do. What offset, tire size are you guys thinking for this? I was told to go with a 4.5 backspace and +0 offset. I'm thinking with a 9" wide wheel, that would only give me an additional 3/4" towards the fender flares. Please help.

Assuming the 3rd gen brakes are the same size as the 2nd gen, any 6-lug Toyota wheel 16" or larger, should fit. Only exception is this wheel:
    70269d1213129488-set-4-15-x-7-6-spoke-6-_659409da1223de7eaf025346797925d44292cad6.jpg

Typically, wheels from a 4Runner, FJ cruiser, 1st gen Tacoma have slightly less back space (less positive offset) than 2nd gen Tacoma wheels. I'm not sure what the typical offset of 3rd gen Tacoma wheels are.

Given that info. Google away for pictures of the other wheels.
