I think dad paid $12,000 for this brand new base model 2004 2wd, 2.4 liter 4 cylidner, 5 speed, reg cab, 2wd, had such options as carpet and a/c.

After 180k miles, he gave it to me when he bought a new 2016 Tacoma. Dad felt guilty about paying WAY more for my sister's college education. I've fixed it up a bit, new bumpers, new bluetooth radio, added sound deadening, replaced the shock asorbers, polished the headlights, man its a nice looking truck, its straight as hell, no rust, great paint, I really take pride in this little truck. It runs like a new truck, looks great, I like the way it drives, its easy to park, the 5 speed is kind of fun and helps out with it having no power.

Seller owned a company and was looking to get it off the fleet. Picked up my 99 Tacoma in 2007 with 147,000 miles. Currently at 269,000 miles with routine maintenance and minor repairs here and there.

03 double cab TRD Prerunner in red with 160k miles on it for $6.5k. Has some surface rust on the undercarriage from being in NY for the last 5 years. Needs a brake job and some front end work. Paint in overall good shape, some rock chips on the hood. Minor dings here and there but no body damage. Happy to get a commuter with little work needing to be done to it for a good price.

 

01 extracab sr5 in lunar mist with 319k for $3800. Super clean only one rust spot. Came with a Apex rack and a canvas cover.

 

96 2wd 5 speed AC 117k $3000
Will be putting about another grand into restoring him close to his OE condition, with plans to add some SR5 upgrades as well!! Split bench, Cluster w/ tach to mention a few things....

$7,500. Bought 2 weeks ago. 2003 Double Cab, Off Road and SR5 package. 170k on the clock. First one I found that the interior was 9.5/10. Had minor front end damage earlier this year but was all repaired. Currently apart in the driveway in the middle of timing belt replacement and valve cover gaskets.

I'll have to dig into my old man's files this weekend and try to find the paperwork from the original purchase. For what it's worth, I bought it from him last year for 3k. 189k miles, 2003 DCSB TRD Off-Road 4x4. Methinks I got a decent deal on that one.

 

Yes I did a quick plastidip spray. Going to repaint the whole truck soon to a trd pro cement gray

EDIT: How much are you paying for that paint job? Might be interested in getting that done myself.

 

I got a quote of $1800 door jams and bed removal included.

I got my tacoma for $3,000. Clear coat is bad on hood and roof but truck ran perfect.
