Prinsu Design rack finally came in and couldn't wait to install. :bananadance:

    Started to Assemble rack...

Laid out all the washers and bolts before assembling. *make sure you loosely tighten them and when you go back to tighten all the way, just make sure they are snug. My dumbass broke the head off one and had to extract and replace.

After rack is assembled, the hard part was next...prepping the roof holes, spacers and cutting the weather strip. First, I removed the weather strip on both sides.

Cleaned the channel with some cleaner, I used simple green. Then remove the adhesive stickers that are covering the oem holes and clear out any debris.

Then mark the location of the holes on the weatherstripping for both sides and cut out notches with a dremel. You will need to cut through a small metal strip. The cut is about half inch from center of hole to both sides. After cutting the notches out, you will drill holes to match the size of the spacers. Fit the spacers through the holes before mounting on roof. After good fit, add some silicone to roof holes and set the spacers. After a bit, set the weather strip in through the holes and press into channel. Note: I chose to add some 3M adhesive to the channel before re-installation.

Re-mounted the Maxtrax to the Prinsu Rack with some angle metal mounts i found at local hardware store. I bought the prinsu locking pins and drilled the angle pieces to center. I mounted the angle pieces on the inside of the crossbar on the passenger side.
