    I hear ya... I’ve been slowly building op the mods to mine too. Built my winch bumper a couple weeks ago. Pretty sure you saw the pics of it but I’ll post for those who haven’t.

    Just go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a new hose as long as you need.

    The metal piece just slides in. You can actually buy just the metal pieces on Amazon I believe then go buy whatever length hose you need.
