Good morning TW! I have a quick question. I am going to be looking for a hospital job in the next two week in Denver, CO. A little background on me, I have been in the IT field for the last four years in the Navy. Before that, a Wildland firefighter and restaurant cook. I am starting school in January. While doing my Nursing pre-reqs I will be getting my EMT-B cert. The ideal job would be something entry in a hospital in the area. I will have my EMT-B by June and I want to work full time as a ER-Tech while in nursing school. If they had a position I could work for a <6months then transfer over to a tech job, it would be perfect! Does anyone have any advice on what type of jobs to apply for? I am big on loyalty and would love to work for the same hospital all the way through Nursing school and even as an RN.

What ever happened with this? I'm an 10 year nurse in the ICU,now have my man, and just got accepted into a dnp fnp program, would be happy to help guide a future health care member!! Check out the hospitals in Denver, general used to be great, but don't know these days. An Ed tech job would be a great entry point for you. Get to know the staff, and know there are many areas in nursing. Ed is an easy transition for an EMT! Pm me or reply to this thread!!
