Absolutely, there have been many people who have paired together the heated mirror kit with Nathan's mirrors. I know for sure he sells the EZView mirrors and if I'm not mistaken he also sells and adhesize backed heater strip set that can be applied to your OEM mirrors if you do not want to use the EZView's. Maybe @SMKYTXN can confirm that though.

PS if you are using alternate mirrors the kit cost drops by $110.

Jaimes has it right. You can pair his kit with my mirrors and defrost films, or add the kit to my defrost films on your stock glass.

Can I be added to the 2lo waiting list if there is one. I luck out on the initial release. Hope to get one this time around. Not on tw much so I'm subscribing to get alearts. Very good products. I might have to just order the heated mirrors when the 2lo comes avaliable.

Not to hijack this thread but I have been reading through it all and decided I wanted to try this myself. Although since I have a 2015 TRD I wanted the sport mirrors with the flashers as it is already wired for them. I found a set on Amazon by TYC for a decent price and ordered them and was going to go with the trail toys pads for the heaters. Big mistake with the TYC's as the mirrors are not held on to the backing with the tape but something that looks like RTV and it is stuck hard. Have tried heat, sawing through with dental floss and a couple of other chemical products, no go. Anybody out there have any luck with these mirrors?
Ok update on this product, broke the mirror glass on one side. Took over an hour to get the pieces out, found a combination of RTV silicon and hot glue holding it in.
Mirror is not the same size as a 2012 - 2015 Tacoma but smaller. Local glass place measured the base and figure it matches a 2005 - 2011 maybe. Have to wait three days till it comes in. Tried emailing the company to see if they had replacement glass, no reply. So in short theses are junk unless you just want the turn signals upgrade as there is no way to put the heater pads on them and the mirror base is not the same as Toyota.

I'd like to get the mirror adjustment switch, 15 minutes with no mirrors. I have 4 runner mirrors with puddle lights and signals. Any suggestions on the additional wiring? I wired it all up in my old taco before she met an untimely demise I'm hoping this is faster.
I'm in Calgary Canada. Amber light (unless I can get white). I'll need the PayPal and pricing. Thanks and great work.

Any luck with your backorder from Toyota? They gave you a timeline of 2-3 weeks about 4 weeks ago. Hopefully you will see them soon, I am ready to send cash once you get them!

Guys sorry for not being very present on here lately. Life has been a bit chaotic and to be honest I've been feeling a bit burnt out. I've been out of town the last week and am just working through my PM's, emails and the messages on this thread. Might take me a couple days before everyone is replied to but I'm working on it

Sounds good, if / when you are ready let me know!

I plan to get an update on this tomorrow. I checked online and it still shows as on backorder. I ordered quite a few pairs of mirrors this time around so they did warn me that it was going to take a while.

Sounds good, unfortunately I don't have an exact date yet when these will be available. There has been a bit of a hold up on having the boards assembled but I hope to get that resolved in the coming weeks. I've ordered enough that everyone who has shown interest will be able to get there hands on one

That's too bad. When I was just starting this I did see aftermarket mirrors were much cheaper than OEM but decided to offer up the OEM to avoid complications like that. The only aftermarket option I'm aware of that has not given anyone trouble is the option Trail Toys has.

I see you sent me a PM. I'll reply to that.

Sorry for the long wait here. I plan to call them tomorrow for an update. The problem was I ordered more pairs then were in stock from Toyota's supplier. My understanding is they needed to actually be built to fill the order.

    Sounds good sir!

    Will reply to your PM.

Didn't get a PM but I did just see that you posted on my profile. Once these are available in a larger quantity I'll be starting up a dedicated thread and will also message people who have said they would like one.

I have been out of town the last week but should get an update on these mirrors tomorrow. Sorry to keep you guys waiting... unfortunately this one has been a bit out of my hands. What I can say is I'll get the harness pre-done so that once the mirrors arrive I'll be able to ship right away.

There have been a number of you asking about the 2lo module. I've been a bit tight lipped about that mostly because everything regarding that project has taken considerably longer than I've estimated. I'm used to doing my own work where I have much more control over how fast things can be done.

Where things are at is I've been working on the harnesses as time permits. It's not the ideal solution as they take a long time to build due to the large number of wires and crimps involved. In the future I would like to find a company that can do a quality job on those but I decided to just tackle a batch of 50 myself. If there is a good demand for these I'll likely be subbing that part out down the road.

The PCB design, component configuration and software have all been completed. That said there has been a delay in getting the boards built now. I'm hoping that won't be too much longer though.

The last detail is the cases that these will go into. I now have those designed and should be receiving a batch of them hopefully in a couple of weeks. Teaser pic below ;)

Oh boy! Given the similarities, do you think this would work on a 3rd Gen?

I see that you are just developing this. I can be patient and am in no rush. Just curious about the possibility.
