Hi, What was the pre-discount price with everything included (options, delivery charge)? Basically I like to know how much discount the dealer was willing to give. Thanks

we struggle with consistency in this thread for the meaning of OTD. if that's the absolute OTD price including tax tag fees so on so forth then it's not a terrible price but you can do better..

if that isn't including tax tag so on so forth then you are absolutely getting hosed.

my msrp was 354000 for a sr5 4x4 and my OTD (FINAL TOTAL PRICE INCLUDING EVERYTHING) was $32,800

The tax rate on autos in TX is 6.25%. So if this is not a trade-in type deal, that's pretty good. TTL is about $2,000, so you are paying less than 30K for a 34K truck. That's around a 12% discount. That's better than most deals in this thread.

Hey guys I’m looking at a super white 17 TRD OR, where it currently sits at is 40150 after factory and dealer add-ons. Dealer quoted me 35,500 with tax tag and title OTD IS 36500. Can any one chime in with some one what they paid?

Similar sticker price on my truck but I got them down to 36.1k Otd for my ‘17 silver DCSB sport 4x4.

So you got 36.1k for a sport? Where I live the sport trims are usually more expensive then the off-roads. I’m still baffled as to why.

Yeah. Think it was around 32k something before all the dealer fees and TTL.

I know I can get a little more trimmed off before I sign any papers. That was just the initial conversation with the sales manager.

I bought my 17 OR with a MSRP of $40,000 and paid $35,300 before tax. Our tax rate is 10% so the tax severely scews the deal but all relative to your area. I believe near $5000 Off is a good deal. I was in the car business at one point and our gross profit for new including hold back and trunk money was typically $2-3000 and that’s selling at MSRP. Toyota is volume based so a single sale at the end of the month could equate to an added incentive for the dealer that is paid for all units sold prior to that one. That’s why the can offer the best deals at the end of the month, they may lose a couple thousand on a single sale but that sale could easily be worth $20,000 or more in additional incentive.

    Just bought a 2017 Black Tacoma TRD with tech package last week. Added;

    - TRD Wheels
    - TRD Exhaust
    - Tub Mats
    - TRD Intake
    - Step Ups
    - Remote starter
    - Protection Package

With 5% tax and all the documentation fees walked out at $49,000 CAD. So about $38,300 USD.

Essentially I’m only paying $390 more than base MSRP which is $35,160. But I just feel I can squeeze a little more, then I’ll be happy!

Must have tons of dealer installed add ons if MSRP is $35k. I didn’t have any dealer installed items on mine, all factory installed with MSRP on sticker of $40,000. I bought my pro grill and wheels for 25% off list as part of the deal.

Oh I see what you mean base MSRP now. Mine is almost the same but I have the tonneau and no side steps. You are getting near $5000 off which I believe is a good deal. Tax and fees are hard as they are hard/fixed costs other then a doc fee we can negotiate in my state. They will hope to sell you the moon in the finance office, paint protection and warranty and all that Jazz!
