    Sorry if these are dumb questions, but what gear is needed? Is this 4x4 only? I only have a 2wd and I think I only have gear to tailgate. But I'm sure I can get things I have a buddy who works at Big 5 sporting goods. Never been to Hungry Valley either but this sounds fun. And I've camped out by Barstow with wind before so I'll pray for no wind! But any tips and advice is welcomed.

    It would be like Barstow but less open area and with trees and more nature.
    Bring what you will need to be comfortable.
    It's not supposed to get very cold, so that up to you.
