Sad day for my Taco

My 2012 DCSB SR5 experienced its very first part failure today. Yep, had to replace the drivers side front blinker bulb. Toyota reliability....pfffft. lol

 

OH, THE HUMANITY...

 

Don't forget to top off the blinker fluid.

Junk it and buy something else...... totally ridiculous after 5 years. Lawsuit coming.

Operator error. You shouldn't be using your blinkers anyway. You don't see BMWs flashing their blinkers, and those are the ultimate driving machines.

 

I just use my horn to signal lane changes. When i remember.

 

Oh I definitely don't use it. It's a sweet looking taco, most people just pull over in awe anyhow. Since they double as running lights, I felt I had to replace it.

I'd still replace with oem. Give Toyota quality a second chance!

 

BMW don't use blinkers because the stalk is broken. That's good ole German plastic won't hurt a squirrel or nothing

 

Aw crap, now I worry about the next Toyota Supra...

The ones I bought from Advance Auto were Sylvania. The OEM's I pulled out were Sylvania as well.

 

Yes, but they are not authentic Toyota Sylvanias. You need to go to a Toyota dealership and buy the bulbs there. They are about $4 more than Advance Auto, so that's how you know they are true OEM.

 

We can't have that now can we.. Looks like I'll be making a trip to Toyota on Monday for some overpriced Sylvanias!

 

I recently bought spark plugs from the dealership, and surprisingly they cost less than advance auto
