    huh. Well i'll be.

Except the front is not a pretaco diff...

Pretacoma fronts are on the left/passenger side. That is on the right/driver side. It is a manual hub ADD tube though. Also pretacoma front diffs CVs bolt on, they don't just smack in and out with a small snap ring on the end of the CV(kinda wish they still bolted on).

the rear however you are right..is not an 8.4'' diff and looks like a an early model one. However, it could be a V6/turbo diff. Which 4runners used. Good catch!

    Kinda odd...

I like the fact that I can rotate my steering wheel between 11oclock and 1oclock and nothing happens.

Makes me feel like I'm driving a 70s Cadillac.

    3rd Gen I believe.

It's also the same as an elocker. Well the elocker is based off that diff.

How much does a bare ARB bumper weigh? Do I need to hit the gym and work on my ass muscles?

What's weird is that the 4Runner front diff I got is the same as a taco front diff with the same mounting cushions - not the ones in the pic.

Really that's it? My all pro apex weights like 98lbs and I think the ARB is bigger.

They're all empty inside. I removed one when I bought my first gen and sold it.

Under the mirror bracket is the power plug (I16) for the dome and map lights. There are one or two wires, black and black with a white stripe, depending on what options you have. I would find a mirror at the junk yard and get as much of the wires that where attached. The black wire is for the map light, this would be your positive. you would then have to tap into it. Then attach this black wire to the black with yellow strip of the power mirror. Then you would need to make a ground and attach it to the metal were the mirror bracket mounts. This ground would then attach to the white with black stripe of the new mirror. The black with with white wire has power only when the door opens. It is just a power and ground is all that the new mirror need to work. To answer your question, I have all tundra wiring in my truck with the Tundra v8 that has provisions for the stock automatic mirror.DSC00348.jpg

The mounts are odd. But idk what else it would go in. Or its because it's a manual hub one? :notsure:
